For those patients who have had cataract surgery previously, or need cataract surgery, and have a desire to improve their vision. The result is precision, reversibility and safe surgery.

Dr Chiu has used the dual lens technique since 2015, using a secondary sulcus intraocular lens, in addition to a routine primary intraocular lens. More recently this approach has started to gain increasing popularity. This technique affords solutions for more complex eye problems, or for patients who simply did not have the opportunity to explore the options or obtain the best possible vision at the time of their cataract surgery.

This approach can give people freedom from glasses by refining the original surgery, correct astigmatism for patients who had their surgery when toric lenses were not available, or give multifocality to their vision.
