Alongside her esteemed colleague, Dr Con Moshegov, they led numerous groundbreaking procedures in laser vision correction. From 2014 to 2021, Dr Chiu served as the principal surgeon for Perfect Vision Laser Correction. Supported by an exceptional team, they consistently delivered outstanding results and set new standards in the industry.
Since 2021, Dr. Chiu has branched out to pursue new opportunities and expand her own practice, building on the strong foundation laid during her years at Perfect Vision. It’s important to acknowledge that the clinic’s success was driven by the efforts of just two surgeons—Dr. Moshegov and Dr. Chiu. This latest recognition reflects the legacy they built together, and Dr. Chiu is honoured to see that their work continues to resonate within the industry, continuing the legacy of a reputation of excellence.

It is with deep respect and sadness that we acknowledge the closure of Perfect Vision Laser Correction and continue to mourn the loss of Dr Con Moshegov, an exceptional surgeon, mentor, and colleague.
For many years, Perfect Vision Laser Correction stood among Australia’s leading centres for laser eye surgery and refractive surgery in Sydney, setting benchmarks for precision, safety, and patient care. Under the leadership of Dr Con Moshegov and Dr Alison Chiu, the team successfully performed more than 40,000 laser vision correction procedures, including LASIK surgery and PRK, helping thousands of Australians achieve clear, unaided vision.
Dr Moshegov founded Perfect Vision in 2009 and served as Principal Surgeon throughout its operation, shaping the field of refractive surgery in Sydney with his expertise and innovation. Dr Alison Chiu, who succeeded him as Principal Surgeon from 2014 to 2020, was one of only two surgeons to hold that title since the clinic’s inception in 2002.
Importantly, Dr Alison Chiu now consults as the Medical Director and Founder of Pure Sight Eye Surgeons, where she continues to advance the art and science of laser eye surgery , ICL surgery and refractive lens and cataract procedures in Sydney. Her ongoing commitment to excellence honours Dr Moshegov’s legacy while leading the next generation of vision-correction innovation.
